Whoever is managing Team Europe's official Twitter account has just been given a (well deserved) collective round of applause from golf fans everywhere.

For the non-golfing fans out there, or those with a less than impeccable memory, the tweet is in reference to the famous incident two years at Medinah when McIlroy needed a police escort to make it to the tee in time for his Sunday singles match.
McIlroy had mixed up the time zones in Chicago but given that he's in Scotland this time around he'll hopefully have no such worries. Nice of Team Europe to remind him though.
