The drama between the players now part of the LIV Golf Tour and those still with the PGA and DP World Tour continues, with tensions rising between Billy Horschel and Talor Gooch ahead of this week's BMW Championship in the UK.
DP World Tour members Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Sergio Garcia are eligible to play at the event despite being members of the new LIV Golf Tour, after having their suspensions put temporarily on hold.

Horschel and Rahm slam players from LIV Golf for taking part
Fellow LIV Golf players Talor Gooch and Abraham Ancer are also in the field due to their Top 60 world rankings, but Billy Horschel has said that they are being "hypocritical" in chasing world ranking points.
With 17 LIV golfers scheduled to take part in this week's BMW Championship at Wentworth, Billy Horschel didn't hold his feelings back on them chasing world ranking points.
Horschel said:
I honestly don’t think that the American guys who haven’t supported the Tour should be here.
Abraham Ancer, Talor Gooch... you’ve never played this tournament, you’ve never supported the DP World Tour. Why are you here?
You are here for one reason only and that’s to try to get world ranking points because you don’t have it (on LIV Golf). It’s hypocritical because of what some of these guys have said when they said they wanted to play less golf.
Horschel's views are certainly shared by many other golfers who chose not to join the Saudi backed breakaway.

Jon Rahm was also critical of the 17 LIV Golf players that will be involved this week, with his friend and DP World Tour member Alfredo Garcia-Heredia, missing out on the event due to the 17 LIV members taking part.
Rahm said:
It does bug me that somebody who has played 20 DP World events this year cannot be given the opportunity to play a flagship event because some people that earned it, to an extent, are being given an opportunity when they couldn't care any less about the event.
They don't know. They don't care. They don't know the history of this event. They are only here because they are trying to get world-ranking points and trying to finish in the top 50 (to get into the majors), and that's clear as day
Talor Gooch hits back at Horschel after criticism
Talor Gooch responded to Horschel's comments on Twitter, saying that the PGA Tour member had only played 6 DP World Tour events since 2019.
Billy's DP pro career 2013-today.
64 events. 58 major/WGC/2022
Scottish(pga tour event). 6 pure DP
events in total(I wonder how many he
got $ to play)and his first non maior/
WGC P appearance 2019 BMW(won
fedex in 2014). He supports whats
best for his career. Like all of us do 😁 https://t.co/vJlrZi9y9u— Talor Gooch (@TalorGooch) September 6, 2022
Gooch also responded to Jon Rahm's claim that the players were only chasing ranking points, hence the reason they are playing at Wentworth this week.
World ranking points and first time I’ve earned a spot into this event. Super excited to play. Name a top 50 player in history who hasn't chased world ranking points… https://t.co/QbKMVCKpxH

The drama and tension between golfers involved with LIV Golf and those who chose not to, doesn't seem to be going anywhere and it will likely only get worse, before relationships between the two sides get better.
