It may be seen as a travesty by some but there's no denying that the dominance of large multinational companies has created some of the most well recognised iconography of our time. Whether it's the golden arches or Coca-Cola's unmistakable font, the humble logo has wormed it's way into our collective psyche. And when it comes to the most recognisable logo of all time, there's little more obvious than the Nike swoosh.
Yet it appears it's not as ubiquitous as we may have thought. This was from the Sky Poker Channel's (apparently that's a thing) Open Championship betting preview on Tuesday evening. Host Tony Kendall seemed to think he was on to a big scoop when he noticed that Rory McIlroy was missing something from his cap. Everyone else in the studio is just waiting for a punchline that is never going to come.
