While the PGA Championship did not go the way of Shane Lowry, it was still a great weekend's work for the Offaly native who made major history at the prestigious event.
A recent winner alongside Rory McIlroy at the Zurich Classic, things have sbeen up and down for 2019 Open champion but he was back to his very best in Kentucky.
The imperious Xander Schauffele finally added a maiden major to his impressive collection of titles, with Lowry finishing in a tie for sixth place.
Lowry however, was the star of the show on Saturday as he tied the record for the lowest ever round in a major event in carding a stunning 62.
His putter was on fire as he fired in nine birdies in a bogey-free round that saw him emulate just Schauffele, Rickie Fowler and Branden Grace in what is an elite club.

He is sure to take a lot of stock in his return to form, a timely one with the US Open and The Open still on offer this summer.
The evidence of his return to form is evident in the Official World Golf Rankings too, where he has made a considerable leap.
Shane Lowry shoots back up Official World Golf Rankings
Lowry made headlines for the wrong reasons in February when his winter struggles were evidenced by the fact he had fell out of the world's top 50 for the first time in five years.
Without a win since the 2022 BMW PGA Championship, Lowry had parted ways with caddie Brian 'Beau' Martin and had some mixed results following the Ryder Cup in Rome.
However, he ended his drought alongside McIlroy just weeks ago and had consequently climbed back up to 43rd in the world going into the second major of the season.
I tried… I failed… and I’ll try again.

The majors are the best events to make ground in and Lowry has done just that, climbing another 10 places up to 33rd in the standings.
His latest major top-10 finish was the eighth of his career and his first since the Masters in 2022.
Lowry will look to continue his steady rankings ascent when he takes part in the Canadian Open in Hamilton, Ontario next week.
He finished second to McIlroy when the event was last played at the venue back in 2019 - something he is sure to take confidence from.
