Interviewed on Sky Sports after winning the WGC Bridgestone Invitational and the $1.57 million in prize money, this was how Shane Lowry summed up his final round.

I hit the ball well, I made a lot of good decisions and got a bit of luck aswell.

Shane hit two especially incredible recovery shots during the round - both of which led to unlikely birdies.

The first came on the 10th, Paul McGinley called it the 'shot of the year'.

The second was on the 18th after an errant tee-shot landed him in the trees.

During the interview, Shane agreed that his 20-foot, par-saving putt on the 14th was a huge factor in him winning the tournament.
