The galleries at Augusta got to witness true greatness yesterday.
We already know that whenever Shane Lowry lands in a far flung part of the globe, Offaly jerseys start immediately springing up in the vicinity.
But this weekend numbered among his entourage is true footballing royalty.
The scorer of the most famous goal in Gaelic football history is currently mooching around Augusta, enjoying the smell of mint julep and the glistening Azalea flowers. Not to mention Shane Lowry's birdies.
Des Cahill informed Sean O'Rourke on RTE Radio this morning that 'Seamus Darby was there swanning around Augusta in his Offaly jersey.'
Greg Allen has the privilege of shaking hands with Darby beside the famous ninth green yesterday.
Shook hands with a legend beside the 9th green. Yes it could only be Seamus Darby. And a few Uibh Fhaili jerseys spotted around Amen Corner.
