Sergio Garcia with a great act of sportsmanship here in the third round of the Accenture Matchplay Championship. Garcia rather bizarrely, was held up at the 6th by a swarm of bees around his ball. The Spaniard felt he took too long with his shot over the bees and offered his opponent Rickie Fowler a half despite Fowler standing over a 17 foot putt and Garcia needing only to drain a 4 footer.
Garcia was 3 up at this stage and ended up losing the match by 1.
Let this be a lesson Sergio, Sportsmanship never works.
