By now you are probably well aware of the Sergio Garcia-Tiger Woods feud. The two had been annoying each other the last few weeks culminating in Garcia making a racial remark towards Woods at a golf dinner. They are both at Merion golf club this week and Garcia thought the time was right for an apology. Garcia thought the best way to do this was to leave a handwritten note in TIger's locker when Tiger was at lunch. It's all very American teen movie-esque.
"Yeah, I did leave him a note, a handwritten note. And hopefully he can take a look at it," said Garcia.
"I don't think that's for me to say," he said. "The note is for him. So if he wants to show you then he can. I don't have any problem with that. But I'm not going to be the one showing you."
Is it too much to ask for Garcia and Woods to settle the dispute over a handshake and a beer?
