TPC at Sawgrass, for anyone who fell in love with the Tiger Woods video games at least, is about as beautiful a course as you will find on the PGA tour, and a large part of that is the iconic 17th hole.
One of the most beautiful and scenic designs in the sport, it had only ever been aced on seven occasions before Sergio Garcia stepped up to the tee in the first round of The Players Championship last night.
A day after he detailed the conversation he had at Rory McIlroy's with Padraig Harrington to clear the air, he found himself still in contention having shot a one-over-par 73 with one very special highlight providing a confidence boost going into the weekend.
Listen to the roar.

SERGIO!
That was the second PGA Tour hole-in-one of the Spaniard's career, and his first since 2008, speaking to the media after the round he confirmed it was the 12th of his career and 5th in competition.
He also treated the media to a cooler of beer and Grey Goose in celebration:

A dream 2017 continues for Garcia, it will be interesting to see if he can carry some momentum into Friday's round on the back of such a spectacular finish.
