The 2023 Ryder Cup takes place this week in Italy. We have everything you need to know about the DP World Tour event including tee times, TV information, the weather forecast, and what players to keep an eye out for, especially the Irish players.
Europe will be hoping to lean on home advantage this weekend as they try to claim the Ryder Cup back into their possession.
Team USA are the rightful trophy holders as the claimed a convincing 19-9 victory back in 2021 on their home soil at Whistling Straits.
After the drama of the Solheim Cup last weekend which saw Europe claw back to earn a draw and the fact that the USA has not won on European solid since 1993, Luke Donald's side will be widely optimistic they can claim back the Ryder Cup.
Europe took a commanding 4-0 lead from the opening foursomes session on Friday morning, and the action will continue throughout the weekend.

In the evening session, Europe produced another commanding performance, which saw them tie three out of their fourballs, with McIlory and Fitzpatrick winning their matchup against Morikawa and Schauffele.
Team USA managed to not register a single point today but they are nowhere out of this competition.
Europe lead 6.5 to 1.5 after the opening day and, after another strong morning on Saturday, lead 9.5 to 2.5 going into the afternoon fourballs.

How much are the Ryder Cup winners awarded in prize money?
Remarkably the Ryder Cup doesn't offer any players or teams, whether they win or lose. Instead, it is just about prestige and the exposure players get from participating.
At the end of each Ryder Cup however, the captains of both Team Europe and Team USA do exchange gifts. These gifts have not been revealed for this year's tournament yet.
