Rory McIlroy won the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai on Sunday after a playoff against Xander Schauffele.
The American birdied the 18th hole of the final round to draw level with McIlroy on 19-under, sending it to sudden death decider.
As Schauffele faltered with his tee-shot on the first playoff hole, McIlroy made no mistake. While Schauffele ended up in the rough, the Northern Irishman nailed his drive.
