Rory McIlroy took the twittosphere today after an airline lost his golf clubs.
The Northern Irishman explained how he has yet to receive his clubs after flying from Newark to Dublin yesterday. A presumably embarrassed United airlines has yet to reply with their official Twitter account.
McIlroy was returning from a poor US Open performance where he finished at a disappointing joint 23rd place. The former world number will now turn his attention to the Irish Open at Fota Island this week, but he admitted to the American airline that he kind of needs his clubs to do so.
Hey @united landed in Dublin yesterday morning from Newark and still no golf clubs... Sort of need them this week... Can someone help!?
