Rory McIlroy produced a birdie-eagle finish at the Abu Dhabi Championship leaving him just two shots off leader Andy Sullivan after the second round.
The Northern Irish man was just six inches away from it being just a one-shot deficit.
His 270-yard approach to the 18th just rolled past the hole for what would have been a remarkable albatross had it gone on in.
McIlroy shot a 6-under 66 for the first round. He's now 8-under for the tournament, with Englishman Sullivan leading on 10-under.
