Rory McIlroy today opened a centre in Co. Down for the families of children with cancer.
Daisy Lodge cost £3 million to build with McIlroy's charitable foundation donating £1 million.

The world number one golfer spoke to RTÉ News at One about his involvement: The centre, which is run by the charity Cancer Fund for Children, is open to both families from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It provides short therapeutic breaks to the families of children suffering from the disease.
