While the majority of the coverage from Torrey Pines for the Farmers Insurance Open has focussed on Tiger Woods's first PGA Tour event in 18 months - he's 11 shots behind leader Justin Rose after the opening round - it has been another veteran who has been entertaining the crowd.
Phil Mickelson, one-under for the tournament, saved par on the eighth thanks to one of his trademark flop shots.
After landing in some deep rough from his tee-shot, Mickelson had very little green to work with due to its immediate slope from the edge.
The 46-year-old took a full swing at the ball, sending it airborne and landing it just at the edge of the green. As the commentator says, it's like he 'dropped it out of his pocket'.
Phil with a wedge. Wow.

There was also this putt from Mickelson on an earlier hole, which had Nick Faldo what the hell was was up to.
