While the majority of the coverage from Torrey Pines for the Farmers Insurance Open has focussed on Tiger Woods's first PGA Tour event in 18 months - he's 11 shots behind leader Justin Rose after the opening round - it has been another veteran who has been entertaining the crowd.

Phil Mickelson, one-under for the tournament, saved par on the eighth thanks to one of his trademark flop shots.

After landing in some deep rough from his tee-shot, Mickelson had very little green to work with due to its immediate slope from the edge.
