Heading into The Open at Royal Troon this week, quite a few golf fans will be keen to see how Bryson DeChambeau fares at Royal Troon.
The American is in somewhat of a unique situation. Many consider him to be perhaps the best player in the world on form, with his displays at the last couple of majors winning him plenty of plaudits. However, he has earned this tag despite spending the majority of his time at LIV Golf, an organisation not many casual fans will be watching all that closely.
DeChambeau is likely to be in contention once again this week, with the American likely to draw quite a few spectators at the Scottish venue.

Paul McGinley Comments On Bryson DeChambeau's LIV Golf Views
Bryson DeChambeau employs an approach that is replicated by very few other professional golfer. He is incredibly scientific in his approach, using sometimes odd or eccentric methods on the course.
This is something that has allowed him to compete at majors despite spending most of his time at LIV Golf, something some other players on that tour have struggled with.
Speaking on US television, Paul McGinley would even go as far as to suggest that DeChambeau views LIV as a part-time gig.
Paul McGinley with some good analysis on Bryson DeChambeau being able to go from the lab directly to the course and contend in majors without too many tournament reps. Believes he’s not that interested in LIV results

He doesn't need to play a lot of reps competitively like 99.9% of other players have to do. He can go from the lab out to competing in major championships.
I don't think he's that interested in how he plays in LIV. It looks like it's a part-time job.
The real job is being in the lab.
LIV Golf has yet to capture the imagination of most golf fans, despite the number of big name players that have joined the tour.
As for this week's event, it would not be a surprise to see Bryson DeChambeau compete at the top end of the leaderboard at The Open over the coming days.
