Paul Dunne had a promising opening two rounds at the Shenzhen International. On Thursday he carded a four-under 68 and then on Friday a 69.
It left the Greystones golfer on seven-under, six shots off the lead.
Dunne continued to play some solid golf in his third round on Saturday morning.
The first eight holes brought eight pars. That included an unlikely one on the fifth.
After a wayward tee-shot left him among the trees, Dunne pulled off a remarkable escape shot to get himself out of trouble.
Who would've thought @dunners11 would make par from there? Brilliant effort. ??#ShenzhenIntl https://t.co/2jx5YI1QTB
