Padraig Harrington isn't the most active golfer on twitter, as rather than offer an opinion on whatever he's watching on Netflix or what he's eating for lunch, he tries to keep his tweets infrequent and to the point, and usually they are worth the wait, like this one:

Another reason why Padraig doesn't go on twitter too often is because he doesn't want the outside world to gain access to his inner circle, as he explained when speaking at the Web Summit in Dublin earlier this year.
Harrington states that while everybody is entitled to their opinion, he is entitled to ignore it, and having once checked his twitter notifications after being tagged in a photo by a fellow golfer, he'll never do it again:
I had an interesting one this year. One of the other golfers was on Twitter and he sent a picture out of the two of us on the golf course.
It was sent to my notifications. I went into my notifications which I hadn't done before and clicked on it. I saw the picture and I read the next three tweets. This was the week before I won in Honda. The first tweet was basically slagging off my caddie. The next tweet was about me and the next one was about me and I didn't find them so funny. I haven't looked again. There's no point.
There's nothing wrong with what the people were saying. Everyone's opinion is valid. I just don't need to listen to it.
Fair enough.
While he obviously will continue to use twitter going forward like pretty much every modern sports star, he'll be keeping it brief. Rory McIlroy on the other hand has today updated us on his food poisoning with an unfortunately graphic use of a certain emoji:
