Many will be aware of Michael Jordan's love for golf. When he wasn't tearing it up for the Chicago Bulls in the 1980s/1990s - he was swinging a club.
Jordan was known for playing rounds on the mornings of big games and allegedly accrued over $1 million in debt in bets lost to a San Diego businessman.
Now years removed from his basketball playing days - Jordan acts as majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets franchise in the NBA.

Michael Jordan's Exclusive Club
With a bit more time on his hands, Jordan's golf passion has only grown with age. So much so he's started his own private club: The Grove XXIII.
The Grove XXIII is based out of a course built on land in South Florida. It's modelled on the Shinnecock Hills course in New York that has previously hosted the U.S. Open.
The 'XXIII' is a homage to his famously worn jersey number 23. Jordan has enlisted a real who's who to be part of his star-studded golf club.

There's an upcoming 'member event' at Jordan's club and it's set to feature some of the world's top golfers. Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas to name a few.
Then you have the celebrity factor. Of course, you need a Hollywood actor. Mark Wahlberg will be there. Then you have American sporting greats in Wayne Gretzky and John Elway.
Jordan will be teaming up with PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley for the 'members event'. Hopefully he's ready for the competitiveness.
It's not your typical golf event by any means. Footage has emerged that drinks are served via a drone on site. Those playing the course won't be short for thirst.

These are just a few of the names teased for the event. A slew of other big names from various walks of life are members of the club.
During a 'members event' in February - Tiger Woods and Barrack Obama were present. They even teamed up to play the 18 holes.
Phil Mickelson even said he had to endure a sign-up process of sorts. That's right, Phil Mickelson. He said he had to wait to be invited into the Grove XXIII.
We're not sure what the golfing standard is like at Michael Jordan's exclusive club but there's no doubt Jordan will want to win. At all costs.
