Rory McIlroy has always had a tough time of it with some crowds. It's been particularly bad in this Ryder Cup, and late on Saturday night - the Minnesotans starting singing "Sweet Caroline" in a clear reference to his ex-fiance Caroline Wosniacki.
It was something that had floored McIlroy back in Ravenhill a few years ago:

This time though, he was prepared. In the midst of his tour-de-force against the American's, McIlroy without pause, turned and joined in with the crowd according to the witnesses. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any footage of the moment:
Crowd serenading Rory with "Sweet Caroline bomp, bomp, bomp ..." he turned around and screamed the rest of the verse to them. Lit.

US fans: Hahaha, Rory! We are singing Sweet Caroline to you!
Rory: Great! Let me sing along while I step on your team's neck with birdies.— Kevin Van Valkenburg (@KVanValkenburg) October 1, 2016
Rory finishing the lyrics to "Sweet Caroline" is the sauciest thing I've ever witnessed, give him every golf trophy we have
