For golf fans, this is Christmas morning. Except where Christmas is a time spent with your family, golf fans will spend the next four days shunning their's and ignoring all familial duties in order watch as much of the Masters as humanly possibly.
Unfortunately, The Masters doesn't offer round the clock coverage of other events - one of the many backward, elitist rules Augusta National imposes on a sport so besotted with their tournament, they're happy to see their stuffy ways as quirky and "tradition". Coverage on Sky Sports doesn't start until 8pm tonight.
Luckily, TV coverage isn't the only way to enjoy the Masters. There are still plenty of ways to make Masters week as bingey as you can.
First of all, there's the Masters app, which most us wonder what it's doing on our phone and delete in early June every year, only to have to reinstall every April. Why are we so shortsighted?
The app has latest scores, news, video highlights and even "Masters Radio".
There's also the rolling "Amen Corner" footage, as well as Holes 15 and 16, where you will get a rare glimpse of the likes of Brandon Steele, Daniel Summerhays and Andy Sullivan. This coverage, which is available on the Sky red button also includes the full round of a couple of featured groups.
This coverage is essential for the other important way of binging on the Masters - having a few bets.
But who to put your money on? That's what we're here to help with. With some bookmakers paying out for up to eight places with each-way odds, there's a lot of outs for a successful week, but it's important to seriously study the field and see where the value lies.
Here's where we think the value lies this week for each-way punts:
Balls.ie Masters Tips:
Jason Day - 18/1
It's a massive price for a player who has finished in the Top 10 at 13 of the 25 Majors he has played in. He's been 2nd and 3rd at Augusta, and while his recent form at the course hasn't been amazing, he did have a solid week last year, ending up in a tie for 10th place.
He was World Number 1 just last year, and was an impressive wire to wire winner of the Players Championship, and finsihed second, just one shot behind Jimmy Walker at the last Major Championship played, the PGA.
The bigger price for Day is due to the fact that he's been off the Tour for the past few weeks, having pulled out of the World Matchplay to be with his mother before she underwent an operation for lung cancer. While that's undoubtedly a massive distraction, the operation has gone well, and Day has said that The Masters is his sole focus, so his freshness coming into the tournament could be seen as a positive.
Lee Westwood - 66/1
OK, so the clock is ticking on Westwood's chance of winning a Major. He's 43, and has dropped to 54 in the world rankings, and hasn't won since the 2015 Indonesian Masters. But Westwood's record in Augusta this decade is unbelievable.
His finishes since 2010:
2, T11, T3, T8, 7, T46, T2
That's five times in the last seven tournaments when an each-way bet would have paid out this week. Tough conditions, especially today, should favour someone with course experience, and this will be Westwood's 18th appearance at the tournament.
Paul Casey - 40/1
The Masters has always been the major for Casey. In his first appearance at Augusta in 2004, he finished in a tie for 6th place. He had another top 10 three years later, before his game fell off a cliff for a few years.
Since finding his form again though, Casey has finished 6th and 4th at The Masters for the past two years, having not even qualified for the two before that. When he's at his best, he's a likely winner here, and when he's not, like Westwood, he manages to find his way around.
He'll be 40 in a few months time, but his form is as good as ever, finishing 2016 brilliantly, and ended up 5th in the FedEx Cup playoffs. He hasn't had the same success so far this year, but he's been solid and it's definitely not anything to worry about before his favourite tournament.
To lead after Round 1 - Shane Lowry - 100/1
The lead after Round 1 bet - also known as the Freddy Couples Memorial Bet. (Incidentally, Couples is 125/1 for this honour, always worth 50 cents)
The wind is going to be up today, by far the worst conditions of what is forecasted for the week. The after effect of yesterday's storm which ruined the Par 3 tournament means there will be winds of up to 40 miles per hour at times.
We're obviously biased but Shane is statistically one of the best players in wind on the PGA Tour, and let's face it, he's played golf in Ireland for his whole life.
He has a good record early in tournaments and found his feet around Augusta last year shooting a 68 on Day 1 for 2nd place. It didn't go well from there, and he ended up finishing in 39th place (despite this shot), but it's steady improvement after missing the cut in his first Masters in 2015. He showed his true class in the US Open last year too, and while his form hasn't been amazing of late, at 100/1, surely this bet is worth a punt?
To miss the cut - Danny Willett and Bubba Watson (Double) - 11/2
Is this a bit mean? Yes.
Danny Willett, last year's "out of nowhere" champion has a lot of attention on him this week. That's a lot of pressure for someone who had one great week in an otherwise decent career.
In the three majors since last year's triumph, he has failed to get into the Top 30, and he didn't win a point at the Ryder Cup. We're not sure Danny has quite adjusted to the big time just yet.
Bubba Watson has won here twice and there's always a chance with a course so suited to him, things could click in any given week. But there's also a good chance that doesn't happen. Bubba has never missed the cut here, but he's also never contended bar his two wins.
His form in majors since he won The Masters in 2014 is dreadful, never finishing in the Top 20, and missing four cuts out the eleven tournaments. We just fancy that this is a week it could go haywire.
