The 2017 Masters got underway on Thursday afternoon with Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus hitting the honourary first tee-shots of the tournament.
Before they did, there was an emotional tribute paid to Arnold Palmer, the golf great who passed away last September.
Ahead of the first Masters without Palmer, Augusta chairman Billy Payne spoke glowingly about the four-time champion before calling for a moment's silence.
Palmer's widow Kit was sitting tee-side during the proceedings.
It was Nicklaus who claimed the bragging rights from the tee-shot, hitting his five yards further than Player.
