Leona Maguire carded a superb final round to finish in a tie fourth at the Women's Open at Muirfield, her highest ever finish at a major championship.
Maguire carded a round of 66 on the final day to finish on seven-under just three shots behind Ashleigh Buhai of South Africa, who took victory in a play-off.
The Cavan golfer managed to navigate the final round without dropping a shot, shooting the lowest score of all in the field and again demonstrating her supreme talent to golf fans around the world once.
Maguire birdied the fourth hole, before eagling the fifth sinking an eight foot put in the process. Further birdies would follow on the 11th and 13th.

Leona Maguire prize money from T4 finish
Speaking afterwards to Greg Allen of RTÉ Sport, Maguire said she was "delighted" with her performance.
"I played as well as I possibly could today. Overall, 66 on a Sunday, bogey free, in a major in tough conditions, delighted with that. I felt like I was playing great golf and that there was a low score in me.
The conditions were really tough; it was windy from the get-go. I took my chances a little bit more on the front nine. I had a nice birdie on four and the little eagle on five gave me the bit of momentum.
"I felt like I played some really great golf all week. Today was one of the best rounds I have played in a while. Lots of positives, you could go back over the what ifs like you do in any tournament but definitely more positives than negatives."
The performance at the Women's Open is Maguire's second major championships top ten finish this year. Back in June the 27-year-old finished inside the top ten at the US Open in North Carolina.
Earlier this year Maguire became the first ever Irishwoman to win an LPGA tournament winning the Drive On Championship in Florida.
The top five finish in Scotland earns Maguire €304,189 in prize money, a massive pay day for the star Irish pro.
