Nice par save on eight and a birdie on nine gave me some good momentum heading into the back nine.
That chip in on 12 was the first bit of luck I got all week, kind of just changed everything, some nice birdies coming in and an eagle on 16 was a bonus.
The goal today was to shoot as low as possible. The crowds are phenomenal, especially on the back nine, I suppose I wanted to give them something to cheer about.
The obvious crowd favourite in her home country, Leona Maguire is grateful for the support she has received through this week, while also aware of the impact this has on the next generation.
It's a home open, you don't get to experience that very often, I haven't in 10 years, so I do think that shows how important it is for it to be back on the schedule.
All the little boys and girls today are dreaming of being in my position, holing puts in front of a home crowd.
The girls were saying it's as close to a major as they have ever seen. Irish people are the best fans in the world, we always say it and they've come out in droves this week.
Here's hoping for a strong finish to the week for the Cavan woman.
