Justin Thomas enjoyed an overall improvement in his fortunes at the Phoenix Open during Friday's second round - but the 12th hole brought a rather unfortunate tee shot - and a rather "x-rated" reaction which was picked up by the TV cameras and microphones.
Thomas shot a 68 to move to -3 overall, in T18 - but remains seven shots off the lead in Arizona.
The American ran into some misfortune at the 12th hole, where his tee shot found the water - and he was not best pleased, as picked up by the microphones on the teebox.
Justin Thomas overheard cursing his luck on tee-box at Phoenix Open
In a hilarious clip shared to Twitter, Justin Thomas could be heard screaming expletives on the teebox at the 12th. His tee shot initially seemed like a solid effort, as it landed on the green - but it caught the slope and began to roll towards the water.

As he looked on in despair, Thomas could hilariously be heard screaming:
Left, left. Sit. Sit! Sit! Stop...stop...stop! Stop! FUCK OFF!
A rather unfortunate tee shot, but thankfully it didn't cost the former world number one too much. He would salvage a bogie from the 12th, and recover as his round went on to card a three-under-par second round.
Elsewhere in the field at the PGA Tour event, Rory McIlroy had a tremendous second day, sitting on -5 for round two, and -3 overall, when play was curtailed early on Friday due to a darkness delay. McIlroy will resume his third round on the 14th hole at 2:45pm Irish time on Saturday.
Shane Lowry did not enjoy similar fortunes, struggling through his opening rounds to sit on +4 for the tournament when play was halted on Friday evening. Seamus Power's consecutive 71s have left him on even par at the midway point of the Phoenix Open.
