The JP McManus Pro Am tees off at 8.05am tomorrow at Adare. We can't remember a bigger gathering of golf royalty, random sports celebrities and extremely wealthy people on this island since the 2006 Ryder Cup, or at least the last JP McManus Pro Am.
The groupings for Monday and Tuesday's play were released on Sunday afternoon. There'll be fifty foursomes, including a group featuring three Westlife members, a group with three of Ireland's greatest jockeys and a group with John Terry and Kenny Dalglish. Fresh off a trip to Croke Park, Limerick hurling fan Bill Murray features in the most A-list group of them all
There are seven favourite JP McManus Pro-Am groups for Monday.
- Luke Donald with Bill Murray, Niall Horan and Jamie Dornan
- Sam Burns with Cian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan
- Tyrell Hatton with John Terry, Kenny Dalglish and Alan Hansen
- Jamie Donaldson with Niall Quinn, Matt Dawson and Nick Faldo
- Harold Varner III with AP Fitzgerald, Johnny Murtagh and Mick Fitzgerald (you can see from the photo above Fitzgerald and McCoy are no strangers to Adare)
- Justin Rose with Keith Wood, Charlie McCreevy and Michael O'Flynn
Other notable groupings:
- Tiger Woods with Michael Smurfit, Tony Smurfit and Sharon Smurfit
- David Howell with Andrey Shevchenko, Ross Desmond and Ahmed Tayeb
There'll also be Ireland's best golfers - McIlroy, Lowry, Power, Maguire, Harrington, as well as some extremely wealthy people from this island and elsewhere.
You can see every grouping here.
JP McManus Pro Am: The golfer arrive
The world's greatest golfers have been getting familiar with Ireland across the weekend.
Jordan Spieth, Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns played Lahinch on Saturday and met a goat or two.
