While there has been no shortage of quality golf over the first couple of days at The Masters, one of the main talking points has been the outfits on show.

Sergio Garcia raised some eyebrows with his green and yellow number, while it was also jarring to see Tiger Woods without the Nike logo after he cut ties with the American manufacturer in recent times.

However, none of them can hold a candle to Jason Day.

Jason Day's outfits at The Masters are causing a stir

A player with an excellent track record at majors, golf fans were always going to keep a close eye on Jason Day at The Masters this week.

In saying that, we were not expecting that his outfits would be the main topic of conversation surrounding the Australian.

He showed up to Augusta on Thursday wearing what can only be described as a cargo/parachute pants hybrid, certainly going against the grain with the more slim fit trousers we expect to see from the players.

That was one thing, but the pants were made all the more jarring due to the weather conditions on the day.

The wind was a big factor at Augusta on Thursday, making things quite difficult for the players. Day's trousers may have been the biggest victims of all, with the Aussie looking as though he was going to take off Mary Poppins style at one stage.

His outfit on Friday was equally as jarring.

This time around it was his sweater vest that caught the eye, featuring a fairly sizeable logo of manufacturer Malbon.

The jokes wrote themselves.

Malbon is a new player on golf scene, having only been founded by American couple Stephen and Erica Malbon in 2017. They had a handful of PGA and LPGA Tour players in their stable in recent times, with Jason Day linking up with them earlier this year.

If they were looking to make a splash at The Masters, it has clearly done the job.

Decent marketing it must be said.

What's more, it looks as though Day's outfits for the weekend will be equally as outlandish.

The man might need to win a green jacket just to cover up those fits.
