There was a scary moment for golf fans yesterday as Australian golfer Jason Day was shown lying prone on the ground on his final hole during the second round of the US Open.
It wasn't immediately obvious what happened to Day, whether the tricky Chambers Bay golf course had claimed another injury casualty or not. It has since emerged that Day was feeling dizzy, and was diagnosed with 'Benign Positional Vertigo'.
Day has just shaken off a mysterious illness coming into the week, and it's believed that yesterday's incident is related.

Day has seemingly recovered well since the incident, and is aiming to continue playing in the competition. He's in a strong position in tied ninth place, just three shots behind Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reid in the lead.

It had been an eventful round for Day, who managed an unlikely birdie earlier in the round after completely overhitting a greenside chip way past the green, and somehow managing to hole the longer return chip:
You’ll want to watch this highlight until the end for Jason Day’s great reaction to his hole-out birdie. http://t.co/ZlsHI8kTZV
