People have had to wait an extra year but the Ryder Cup is only one week away now. Pádraig Harrington is Europe's captain this year and the Dubliner has his team picked and ready to defend the cup they won in 2018 in Paris. So, here's a little guide in how to watch, when to watch and who to watch in the Ryder Cup.

When does the Ryder Cup start?

The Ryder Cup begins Friday 24th September at 1:05pm Irish Time.

Where is it being played this year?

The Ryder Cup is taking place in the US this year. The course they'll be playing at is Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisconsin.

Who's playing this year?

Pádraig Harrington finished picking his team last week when he chose to bring fellow Irishman Shane Lowry in as a captain pick. The rest of the Europe Team is:

How to watch the Ryder Cup?

The Ryder Cup will be shown live on Sky Sports. Coverage will start at 11am Friday 24th September and Saturday 25th September. On Sunday coverage begins at 2pm.
