The USA won the Ryder Cup with a 17-11 win over Europe at Hazeltine.
One of America's five vice-captains for the event was Bubba Watson. The 37-year-old missed out to Ryan Moore as captain Davis Love's final wild card pick. Late last week on the eve of the first day's action, Love named Watson as his final vice-captain selection. Apparently, he had begged Love for the role.
After the US had won the final match, Watson stepped up to embrace Love. It was then that the waterworks started.
Watson, of course, does have form when it comes to letting the tears flow at moments like this.
Bubba Watson crying after America's Ryder Cup victory
Those watching had very little time for Watson's histrionics.
Why is Bubba crying? Never even played. Dickhead! 🤔
