The 2023 BMW Championship gets underway this Thursday. All 12 of Team Europe's 2023 Ryder Cup will be in action this week as Shane Lowry defends the trophy he dramatically won last year. When and Where is the 2023 BMW PGA Championship
The 2023 BMW PGA Championship will get underway this Thursday, September 14th, and will continue for four days before drawing to a close on Sunday, September 17th.
The tournament will be hosted by Wentworth Golf Club and will be played on the Club's West Course in Surrey. Wentworth Club has been hosting the event since 1984.

Irish Players Involved
Both Roy McIlroy and Shane Lowry managed to make the cut for the weekend's action from Wentworth, with Lowry (-4) six shots off leaders Ludvig Aberg and Sebastian Soderberg after Friday's action. McIlroy only just snuck in on the cut line, sitting on -1 after two rounds.
Rory McIlroy will tee off at the first hole at 8:40am, with Shane Lowry doing likewise an hour later alongside Adam Scott and Thomas Detry. All 12 members of Ryder Cup Team Europe made the cut at Wentworth.
Tom McKibbin also made the cut, and will tee off from the ninth at 09:00am.
Fellow Irish man Padraig Harrington missed the cut, sitting on +7 after the conclusion of the second round.

This year's prize fund for the 2023 BMW Championship stands at a whopping €6million.
The winner of this year's tournament will receive a direct entry to next year's US Open, along with obtaining an exemption to the next three Open Championships.
