One amenity that many casinos offer to their guests is golfing. While many
have great courses that are enjoyed by patrons, there are others that just
stand out from the rest. Below are our top five picks for best casino golf
courses in the United States.

Shadow Creek - MGM Mirage

Shadow Creek is not just the best casino golf course, but it is also ranked
consistently as one of the top 10 golf courses in America. When built in
1990, the course was the most expensive golf course ever created.

Playing here isn't going to be cheap as they command a steep $500 per
player, and you have to be a guest at the MGM Mirage to play here. A
caddie and a round-trip limo ride to the course is included.

Atlantic City Country Club

Recommended

The oldest golf course owned by a casino was actually constructed in 1897.
Caesar's Entertainment purchased the course in 1998 and Tom Doak renovated
the course. The ACCC claims to be the first course to ever use the golfing
terms "birdie" and "eagle" and the course has been host to both the US
Amateur and the US Women's Open. Only guests at Caesar's owned properties
can play at this course.

Wynn Golf Club

You wouldn't know it from driving down the strip, but the Wynn Las Vegas is
the only strip casino to have a golf course in its back yard. Literally,
just outside the back doors you can access the beautifully kept course that
was the collaboration of Steve Wynn and Tom Fazio. Many local pros and
aspiring pros play here to work on their game.

Fallen Oak

Considered the "Shadow Creek of the East", Fallen Oak is another Tom Fazio
designed course owned by the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. This world class
course is ranked #2 behind Shadow Creek by Golf Week with an average rating
of 7.31. The course is a world-class facility and is even host to a
Champions Tour Event.

We-Ko-Pa Saguaro

Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore teamed up to design this magnificent course.
While owned by the Ford McDowell Casino in McDowell, AZ, the property could
well hold its own against any regular course in the US. The course plays
very tough and will challenge most experienced players. It is a beautiful
desert course that should not be missed.
