There hasn't been much Irish involvement at the top of the leaderboard of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open this week, meaning the biggest star of the tournament wasn't even a player.
The footage of a local farmer taking in the golf surrounded by his cattle went viral yesterday and it's not difficult to see why.

It was peak Irishness, and the man involved has now spoken to the BBC. His name is Billy O'Kane and he seemed a bit shock by the reaction the footage has received.

I really decided to go and check the cows, and I knew there wasn't many people that could go and watch the golf and I could watch it across the river.
I took a deck chair and a flask of tea and sat down and watched five or six groups. The sun was shining and I really enjoyed it.
They're really good players, much better than me...
My phone wasn't working very well yesterday, and also people of my age aren't particularly good on social media, but my children tell me there's been quite a lot.
Great stuff.
We imagine he was the envy of quite a few people yesterday.
