Suffering their third successive Ryder Cup loss at the hands of Europe hasn't dampened the American team's spirits, as this photo tweeted by Hunter Mahan shows.

The American golfer shared one of the strangest photos of Rickie Fowler and Bubba Watson in existence on his official Twitter account. The American duo donned blindingly white footwear, kilts and a blue and peroxide blonde wig respectively to pose for the camera. Presumably this is some sort of forfeit for losing the tournament or else it is an unusual and probably unhealthy way of coping with such a difficult loss.

The confusion over the motives for pulling a stunt like this is warranted. Golfer turned-photographer Mahan doesn't seem to have the faintest idea of what's going on either.
