The RBC Canadian Open delivered once again last night, topping last year's enthralling battle between Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas.
This year's tournament saw Nick Taylor become the first Canadian since 1954 to win the event, beating Tommy Fleetwood on the fourth play-off hole with a 72-foot eagle putt.
The home crowd went suitably nuts, as Taylor's fellow Canadian pros watched on from the side of the green, while Fleetwood's European buddies - Justin Rose, Shane Lowry, Tyrell Hatton - also stayed on to support their friend.
Despite the incredible nature of his historic win, the story was overshadowed by what happened to Canadian pro Adam Hadwin.
Immediately after the winning putt, Hadwin stormed the green with a bottle of champagne, dousing Taylor and his caddie, before a security guard, not knowing who he was, took him down with a textbook American football hit.
Corner of my eye I saw he got a nice tackle there," said Taylor.
I hope he's all right. He was upright when I saw him later. So I hope he doesn't wake up tomorrow morning with any broken ribs or anything.

"I don't think it's going to sink in for quite some time what happened today," added Taylor.
"This is for all the guys through the years, this is for my family at home," he said. "To kind of break that curse, if you want to call it is, I'm pretty speechless.
"With the rain coming down, the slope, obviously, we knew it was going to be slow. To get it there was, obviously, a bit of a surprise honestly.
"For that to drop is - it was a huge surprise but an amazing one."
Hadwin's wife took to twitter to congratulate her husband and inform fans that he was ok and that he had apologised to the over zealous security guard.
