Rory McIlroy cruised to a seven-shot victory at the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow earning himself a nice $1.3 million payday.
McIlroy broke his own course record yesterday with a 11-under par 61. Today he shot a more sedate 69 to finish 21-under par for the tournament, the first time anyone has ever done that in Wells Fargo Championship history.
Above is just one look at the kind of form the 26-year-old is in right now. On the 514-yard, par-4 16th - into the wind - he hit a drive 364 yards to leave himself with a more than manageable approach shot. He then hit a wedge to with three feet.
It's the 11th tour victory of his career.
