If you turned on the Players Championship at the weekend, even if it was for just a few minutes, you probably heard reference to an anonymous Sports Illustrated poll of professional golfers. It named two players as the joint most overrated on tour.
One of them, Rickie Fowler, directed two fingers at that poll as he caught fire on the back nine of the final round and eventually won a sudden death playoff against Kevin Kisner.
The other player was Ian Poulter. After Fowler had clinched victory, former PGA of America president Ted Bishop resurrected his bad blood with the Englishman by saying that there is "only one over rated player left". Bishop was fired as president last year for calling Poulter a "lil girl" on Twitter.
Rickie Fowler - the legend is made. Only one over rated player left.......

And of course Poulter could not resist a response.
Oh Ted Ted Ted..... I thought you learnt you lesson the last time. Obviously not. ???????????????????????????????????????????? https://t.co/RgcUmGHfsM
