Padraig Harrington overcame a horrible front nine on the final round at the Honda Classic to claim victory. He went on a birdie run on the back nine and then sank a seriously ballsy putt on the 18th to send it to a playoff against Daniel Berger.
On the second playoff hole, the Irishman landed 4 feet from the hole while Berger landed in the water and the $1 million in prize money was his.
Interviewed after his victory, Harrington was asked the difference between life when he was winning majors compared to his more recent barren years in terms of tournament wins.
You do see some changes. God, even thinking about it, you do go from the penthouse down to the still pretty nice hotels. There's no doubt that on the way back down it's a lot different.
Hopefully this isn't an isolated win. I really do believe in myself. I think I found that mental edge that I've been lacking.
