Candy Crush Saga creator, King has revealed a new free-to-play mobile Crash Bandicoot game for Android and iOS.
The Game is called Crash Bandicoot: On the Run and is a Temple Run styled runner. Meaning players can swipe left or right on the screen to move their characters to collect coins or avoid bottomless pits. On the Run also adds a platformer-like game mechanic into the mix, allowing players to jump up to higher parts of the level in order to avoid various obstacles that get thrown their way.
Like in other Crash games, players can control Crash but may also choose to play as other protagonists from the series as they attempt to defeat the villainous Dr. Neo Cortex and his henchmen. On The Run will allow players to customize the titular character, craft weapons, and throw projectiles at enemies as they navigate the different levels of the game. The trailer also hints that players will be able to play with friends although it is unclear how.
There is no information on when the game will officially release but users can preregister for the game through the games website. Users who do preregister will receive a free in-game reward.
It also comes off the back of news that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will be released on PS4 and Xbox One this October.
