The arrival of Fortnite Season 6 is upon us! The new season is officially live and we're all obviously very excited. With it, it brings new features, such as pets, a new consumable called Shadow Stones and a number of new locations. Where Is The Floating Island In Fortnite?
So it turns out that the new Floating Island is an update to an already well-known location on the Fortnite map. It is located right where the island has always been on Loot Lake, although now it will be a lot more difficult to access.

There are a number of way that you can get up there and take in the views, although don't get too comfortable as this is sure to be a popular spot in Fortnite season 6. Players can glide to the island, or use their building skills to get access. There is also a third, and far more fun way, to get up there. If you enter the lake directly under the floating mass, you will be shot up in a sort of vortex, which is pretty damn fun.
There is sure to be some great action on this new floating island. If mastered, it could also provide an excellent spot to get some forts built. I'm already looking forward to seeing the finales of some battle royals take place here.
With plenty of other new features, season 6 is sure to be the most exciting yet. Epic Games continue to outdo themselves with each passing season, and that is very exciting for gaming fans.
