If you're like the rest of us, wishing for some sort of live sport to enjoy, then we've got a treat for you this Friday night.
While the League of Ireland may be on hold for the moment, we'll be streaming a very special Dublin Derby as Bohemians' Keith Ward and Shamrock Rovers' Aaron McEneff go head to head in FIFA 20, all in aid of Pieta House.
Each player will be representing their respective clubs and you'll be able to watch it all on our Facebook page at 8pm on Friday, from the comfort and safety of your own living room.
Speaking ahead of the game, FIFA aficionado Keith Ward said: “I think everyone is missing sport right now and even though we can’t physically be on a pitch hopefully football fans around the country will get a lift from being part of the first virtual Dublin derby. Any win over Rovers is worth celebrating so hopefully I can do the club and fans proud in the game.”
His rival, McEneff is also excited to be representing Rovers: “I’ve played a lot of FIFA over the years and I can’t wait to represent Rovers and take on Bohemians – all in aid of a great charity in Pieta House.”
Match commentary will be provided by Dave McIntrye, and viewers will have the option to make a donation to suicide prevention charity Pieta House. If you'd like to make a donation to Pieta House you can do so here.
The game will be produced by Teneo, with sport and sponorship director, Rob Pearson, saying "Sport and sponsorship is part of our company’s DNA, we understand the unique ability of sport to bring people together. Even in these challenging times there are opportunities for brands and organisations to create, entertain and connect with a content hungry audience."
Set a reminder for 8pm on Friday and tell your friends. You'll be able to watch the whole thing here.
