With the football season currently on hiatus, FIFA 20 Team of the Weeks have come in a different form over the last month or so. Instead of current performances earning a place in the side, 'moment' players were chosen to make some of the best showings from earlier in the season.
Now, with it being anyone's guess when the season will finish up, EA Sports have decided to bring out their Teams of the Season So Far. One of the first ones to drop is the EFL team, with two Irishmen receiving massive upgrades.
Portsmouth's Ronan Curtis has been handed a 85-overall player item, while Swindon Town's Eoin Doyle is the fifth-best player in the side with a 87-overall card.
Here's the team in full:

Did someone say @EASPORTSFIFA Team of the Season?

The @EFL's stand-out goal-scorer. The Ginger Pele.

Both players look like they will be very useful in-game.
Doyle's finishing is his best asset, while his pace, strength, and dribbling are also impressive. Curtis' pace is massive, and mixing that with his dribbling and strength will make him a very tough player to handle on the wing.
Both are certainly deserving of their place in the side. Doyle has notched a massive 25 goals in League Two this season, making his loan switch to Swindon a permanent one in January. Meanwhile, Curtis has registered 11 goals and five assists in League One, earning a pair of player of the month gongs in the process.
