In news that's hardly surprising, Pornhub.com suffered a 10% drop in traffic on Tuesday, in the wake of the release of Fallout 4. Of course they did!
The graphic detailing their traffic for the day is actually pretty funny to read. As you can see below, Pornhub's figures began to drop dramatically as people finished downloading and installing the game. It continues to be lower than usual, pretty much right up until night time when people suddenly realised 'Oh shit, I haven't watched any porn today.'
This led to a huge surge in Pornhub's traffic from around 11pm onwards.
Pornhub's vice president Corey Price told Gamebeat:
We can’t say we’re too surprised with what happened to our traffic during peak gaming hours.
Based on the data, it looks like a huge surge of people decided to indulge in some wasteland wandering by taking the day off of work and school to play, while the rest of the world had to wade through what we assume were the longest hours of work ever in anticipation of some alone time with their consoles.
So what you're saying is, if people were in work instead then they would have been watching Pornhub?
