One of the best perks that comes with a PlayStation Plus membership is the selection of free games on offer on the service every month.
Well, that is, in theory.
In theory, having forked out your money for a subscription to the live gaming service, not only will you be able to play online with mates, but you'll also have access to a bolstered library of games on the first Monday of every month.
It seems this month, however, many PlayStation players have been left less than thrilled with the selection of games on offer for November. The trio of games was revealed earlier this week - and many gamers have taken to social media to vent their frustrations.

New PlayStation Plus games confirmed for November
Mafia 2: Definitive Edition (PlayStation 4)
Mafia 2 is an action-adventure game from 2010 that was remastered for PS4 and Xbox One in 2020. It is set in the midst of a Mafia power struggle in the late 1940s in the fictional city of Empire Bay. It has a rating of 72 on Metacritic.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers (PS4)
This looks like the most fun of the three additions on the list, purely because it seems absolutely bonkers.
Part of the iconic Dragon Ball series, this didn't quite receive stellar reviews when it released in 2022, but it still looks mad enough to pique our interest.

Aliens Fireteam Elite (PS4, PS5)
The only current-gen game on the list of new releases for PlayStation Plus members, this third person shooter was released by Cold Iron Studio in 2021. It holds a score of 69 on Metacritic.
Gamers unhappy with selection of free PS Plus games
Given they fork out for a subscription every month, you could forgive PlayStation Plus players for expecting a slightly higher calibre of game than what they've ended up with for November.
With middling average scores from critics, and only one PS5 game on offer, the selection is somewhat disappointing for players, and plenty took to Twitter to share their frustrations.
Three years into the PS5 generation, and the PS Plus monthly games are still mainly PS4 titles. Should really be two PS5 games and one PS4 game by now! https://t.co/fd91og4WFa

Safe to say gamers will be hoping for an improvement in what's on offer from PlayStation Plus.
