Happy Fortnite Season 5 day everybody! Downtime has officially started ahead of the new season and to keep us going in the meantime, Epic Games have released the new Fortnite Season 5 trailer. The season is titled 'Worlds Collide' and judging by the teasers that have been dropping, we're going to get lots of different features from different historical ages popping up in the new season.
Fortnite Season 5 Trailer
The hype for season began just over a week ago when the rocket in the evil mountain layer took off and left a massive crack in the sky. Ever since then the crack has been getting bigger, with smaller cracks appearing across the map. These seem to be some sort of portal through time, and we've seen some strange items suddenly appearing in the game.
Now that we have the Fortnite Season 5 trailer, it seems to confirm the theory that these cracks can send you through worlds - even into the real world!
Just hurry up and let us play the game! There is no official time for when the new update will be ready to download and we can expect it to take longer given its size but there's no doubt it will be worth the wait. Of course the new season also means a new Battle Pass and set of weekly challenges. This time around it's expected to be historically themed and perhaps a battle between Vikings, Cowboys and Samurai. Sounds like an episode of Westworld!
