Big news for Nintendo Switch fans, with some very intriguing information regarding the popular console being leaked.
While the device is still providing endless, portable fun for fans, as they enjoy classic titles from series such as Zelda and Super Mario, it was released in 2017 and may soon begin to feel dated.
However, they may be getting a new Nintendo Switch console as early as next year.
Microsoft are currently locked in a legal battle - the FTC are attempting to block their purchase of Activision Blizzard - and a document from the court case was shared on reddit which talks of an upcoming 'Switch model'.
(citing standard contractual provisions about "Unanticipated and Unforeseeable Future Events" and Microsoft's commitment to make Call of Duty available on an in-development Switch model).
Nintendo is expected to release the successor to the Switch as early as next year.
