Yesterday, Nintendo also revealed that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold more than 7.3 million copies for Switch since the games release in April 2017.
In 2015, Nintendo announced its move to finally develop smartphone games and to date, it has released Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. There have also been rumours that a Legend Of Zelda smartphone game could be on the cards, but there has been no concrete news on that from Nintendo.
As a big fan of Mario Kart I have been sacrificing a lot of my spare time honing my craft, and I'm not sure whether an extra outlet in which to play the game is necessarily a good thing, yet I also can't wait to see what Mario Kart on a mobile looks like. But surely the real question on everyone's lips is how hard will a smartphone version of 'Rainbow Road' be?
