With Gamescom currently taking place in Germany we are currently experiencing an avalanche of FIFA 17 info.
Yesterday we got a load of new Ultimate Team information including the 10 new legends that will be usable on Xbox, and we also saw the first in-game footage of FIFA 17 actually being played as Marco Reus was on hand for a 2v2 match with some FIFA YouTubers, but today we may have been given the first peak at player ratings for Manchester United.
The image was snapped from Gamescom, a cheeky move as there are strict rules against that sort of thing, and as one player was setting up his Manchester United side (which also confirms they will be in the playable demo) we got a look at what the United squad including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrik Mkhitaryan, and Paul Pogba look like, but the biggest talking point is the massive jump David De Gea appears to have taken.
We are sure that these numbers are not final, as there is no way that Bastian Schweinsteiger will keep his 86 rating from last year, but it is unlikely that players who have had their stats update will have lower stats in the final version.
David De Gea at 91 would set him apart from the rest of the goalkeepers in the game other than Manuel Neuer, who can expect a similar or slightly better rating. Last year he was 86 overall.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has received slight bump from 89 to 90 based on the 34 league goals he scored last season, while Pogba has gone from 86 to 86, Mkhitaryan has been given a big boost from 83 to 87, and with Eric Bailly rated at 82, Manchester United fans are sure to be delighted.
Young players Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard have also been given big boosts to sit at 76 and 79 overall respectively.
United have not really been usable as a top team on FIFA for some time, so the club's fans will now be able to face the likes of Bayern, Barca, and Real (the three best squads to use by a mile in the last three versions of the game) online without too much of a disadvantage, mainly due to the abilities of Pogba and Zlatan in-game.
We're absolutely dying to see the Irish player ratings after Euro 2016, so we'll be bringing you more FIFA 17 news as we get it.
