Manchester United will be impeccably represented in FIFA 17 thanks to an agreement with EA Sports that was confirmed on Wednesday evening.
While it means little for how the gameplay will be affected, it will make Manchester United fans' enjoyment improve greatly as Anthony Martial no longer looks like a random fan pulled from the stands.
(That is seriously what Martial looked like in FIFA 16)
No, now that the Paul Pogba deal has been officially confirmed, EA Sports have revealed the new and improved player models and they look ridiculously good. Like, you can see Jesse Lingard planning his next dab' good.
They appear to have finally made Wayne Rooney look like Wayne Rooney as well, something that every football game has been struggling with since his senior debut.
Something that will change the gameplay however, is 'The Journey', FIFA 17's new player career mode which featues Manchester United in the trailer, although you can play for any of the 20 Premier League teams.
Similar deals have been announced for Juventus and Bayern Munich, while Pro Evolution Soccer have managed to counter with an agreement with Barcelona for exclusive rights, although we're not sure how that will effect them in FIFA.
It's all well and good looking the part, but gamers will be hoping for some big improvements on the virtual pitch when the game is released in late September.
