Fantastic news for Irish fans of PUGB and Clash Royale, with Red Bull announcing that they are bringing the world’s largest mobile esports open competition comes to Ireland for the very first time.
Red Bull MEO is a free competition, now in its sixth season, and is coming to these shores on January 13, with Crash Royale qualifiers taking place that day and on the 21st as well. Each qualifier will see 256 players battle it out in a single elimination, best-of-3 format.
PUGB Mobile qualifiers will take place on January 14 and 20, with space for 32 duo teams on each day.
The final will be held at the Sugar Club in Dublin on January 27, with the winners taking home a choice of a smartphone or €1,000.

"Get practicing your mobile gaming skills and join the excitement at Red Bull MEO Ireland 2024 with action-packed tournaments for PUBG Mobile and Clash Royale.
"For PUBG Mobile enthusiasts, assemble your dream duo and mark your calendars for the qualifiers on January 14th and 20th, 2024. Each qualifier event will accommodate up to 32 duos and will be played over 4 rounds with points awarded for both placement and kills.
"If you're more of a Clash Royale aficionado, prepare to go solo and showcase your skills in the qualifying rounds on January 13th and 21st, 2024. Each Clash Royale qualifier will accommodate up to 256 players in a single elimination, best-of-3 format.
"The top 4 teams or players from each qualifier will earn themselves a spot at the grand final in the Sugar Club, Dublin on January 27th, 2024, with the ultimate victors of each game earning themselves their choice of a flagship smartphone or €1,000 in cash per player!"
